EngineeringEngineering:

Our engineering staff coordinates customer plans and designs to develop castable parts. We review blueprints and work diligently to save costs and improve efficiency in the casting process.

Core Making
Core Making
Core making is a craft that combines the latest technology with more traditional practical processes. Our core making capability is essential to achieving on-time delivery, and we supply our customers' needs for cores utilizing coldbox, shell or baked oil processes.

Pouring and Cooling:

PouringGartland's excellent casting machinability is assured through slow cooling of the carefully poured mold, which gives the finished casting the required mechanical properties and provides the optimum in consistently machinable parts.

Molding:

MoldingOur automated molding machines provide high quality castings with unparalleled consistency in the finished product. Our highly talented molding operators skillfully produce hundreds of molds to be delivered daily to the automated pouring line.

Finishing, Storage and Shipping:

FinishingGartland's Finishing Department is equipped with Wheelabrator, Tumblast and Spinner Hanger units for cleaning the variety of shapes cast. Ransburg electro-static painting equipment enables the application of primers needed to meet customer specifications and to enhance the appearance of the finished product. The protection of the high quality castings is assured by the clean indoor, weather-protected shipping and storage facilities.
