At Gartland, our proud and experienced workforce provides the
key ingredients, reliability and consistency that go into all
our castings. Our employees average more than 15 years experience
and are trained in the Crosby Quality Improvement Process to promote
maximum reliability.

is critical, so compliance with the ever-changing regulatory
concerns and mandates is monitored closely. As a concerned corporate
neighbor, Gartland continues to be totally committed to meeting
or exceeding all air, water and waste regulations.

Facilities
Gartland prepares the sand, melts the iron and finishes the
casting in a 100,000-square-foot facility which has been constantly
upgraded to provide only the best in casting services. The recent
electric melt addition is evidence of our total commitment to
advancing our manufacturing processes.
Quality Control, ISO 9001: 2000 Certified
Quality control is a philosophy of operation in every Gartland
process. It is most obvious in the laboratory. The laboratory
is responsible for the performance, evaluation and recording
of all quality testing. This includes metal analysis, melting
unit operating data, Brinell Hardness and layout. Special testing
needs of customers can be accommodated, insuring that Gartland
castings meet all specifications. The success of the Gartland
Quality Control Program is demonstrated in the exceptionally
low rejection rates from many and varied customers. It is this
dependability that has enabled Gartland to retain valued clients
through the years.
Keeping Current
Gartland's excellent growth, with increased sales and an expanding
customer base, hasn't happened by accident. It's been a result
of listening to
our customers and putting their interests first. Our strong
financial position has allowed us to make an ongoing investment
to improve facilities and equipment and advance manufacturing
processes to support our operation into the 21st century.
We've added two new 8,000-lb. coreless induction melting furnaces
which effectively increase our melting capacity and allow us
the flexibility to produce castings in the shortest possible
time.
We've updated our laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment
to support our quality control function.
